I have a 2005 G35 MT Sedan. I was under the assumption that the full-size spare tire only applied to the Premium C package or if you specifically asked for it. I could not get the Premium C package with the manual transmission and I never asked for a full-size spare.
At the
Digitalwheelz site it specifically says that the case will not work with a full-size spare. So, I was doing a bit of research and realized to check the orientation of my spare tire ... as to whether it was turned the right way to house the case. To my surprise ... I found that my spare was mounted the wrong way, as the image below shows.
My question is, do I have a full-size spare? I went back to check my sales sticker and it didn't mention anything about a full-size spare. I attempted to flip the tire over to see how things would fit; it seemed to be fairly stable. The bolt that secures the tire was now too long however.
Has anyone else that has a sedan bought this case?
