Huh? Not sure why. They already have agreements with auto dealers and auto rental company Avis.
I have sampled a similar product made by a security company called SonicWall. The difference between them was that the SonicWall device is open to 3g card where this one will have it built in.
I forsee these folks being able to take advantage of the GPS capabilities in cellular devices and being able to provide a media center to 802.11 users that are permitted to use the device.
As they say this will be the bees knees. I likely wont be an early adopter but only because i want to wait an see what they add to the product after the first release.
PC builders have been doing this for a while look up stomp box and I think junxion. Cool DIY stuff but doesn't have the finished box this one has.
It wont be long before this is being showcased in someones car at a car show playing xbox360 online against another event attendee.
