This is mentioned in a lot of places and you posted a while back so I do not know if you have got this fixed yet, but here goes...

If you drop the panel under the steering column (should pull down easily) and look to the right above where your right knee would be, there is a hose fitting and a sensor.

BOTH of these need to be connected!!
If either one is disconnected, you will get ice cold air at 60 and the second you hit 61 it will blast hot air...

Trust me, I have knocked that damn hose lose 20 times when taking the panels off for various reasons and I never realize it till I get a blast of heat at 61 degrees!!
