Yes it came with a key inside. It is used so it has some guy’s key on it. You can buy a new one with a key inside that has not been cut yet. It cost more though. And you have to bring that blank key to Nissan/Infiniti dealer to be cut and program. I prefer to use my regular key because it is PITA to remove the key from inside the remote every time you want to start the car.
