well that's no fun. but basically, yeah, that's what i got out of it...
but let me add - this is exactly what obama's platform has been from the beginning - change in policy, but even more importantly - change in politics.
i see hypocrisy. 'look at me, i'm so different. i'm unlike any candidate you've ever seen before, untainted and unteathered. i won't work for special interests, i'll work for you.'
but then, the more we dig and dig, we find out he is indeed just like any other candidate - has mccain ever tried to prove the opposite of himself?
this is where i see the divide. that's like the governor who was tough on crime got caught in a prostitution scandal... that in itself is no big deal. it was the fact that he was for the prosecution of government officials who were corrupt, and was corrupt himself.
so obama is taking this same approach, and we are finding out, that it is the same type of politics that we've seen in the past. and i wish he would stop saying the contrary.
