Maybe they reset something that needed it. I really don't know. I just know that I had the EXACT issue and it went away. Just think about how I was feeling: I had just changed the plugs by myself for the first time and the car was dying right after starting when warm.

Thankfully I had a similar experience before. Look at it this way: You got a new MAF and probably won't need another.

Also, I am not a pro by any means, so maybe it was bad.
