What you are seeing is the Shadow-Clipping Warning (U). It will mark any underexposed spots in
blue. The same thing also exists for overexposed areas, which is the Highlights-Clipping Warning (O). In this mode, any overexposed spots will be marked in
reds. You can enable/disable each separately by using the keyboard (letter above), or by clicking on/off on the arrows at each side of the histogram.
