  • Bike time: 9:46 (112 miles)
  • Run time: 5:03 (26.2 miles)

Rest of the time was transition time. I tried to keep my HR below 70% at all times, and was about 95% successful; my normal swim time for that distance is about 1:10, bike time about 6:20 or so. Don't know about marathon time, this is the only marathon I've ever done , but my pace for a 15 mile race was about 9:00/mile or so.

Other than the knee, the IM went great, really enjoyed it.
Thanks for taking the time to check that out for me.

It looks like your plan worked really well. My run times are a lot faster but I know my swim/drown (can't) would be horrible and the bike probably wouldn't be great either. It's obviously not fair to compare one marathon to another done at the end of an ironman!

BTW, congrats to your wife on surprising you with her fitness.
