What you need to do is to stop holding these people to a pedestal and start questioning their motives. Why does Beck stand for what he stands for? Who pays his bills? Who provides him the talking points and by who's agenda does he tow the party line? To me he is just another talking head tool spun up by the GOP PR machine much like Olbermann is his liberal counterpart.
Yes, to a certain degree, when they actually report the news, I listen. Beyond that, all the other trash coming out of their mouths are opinion and opinion can be bought. Much like you would endorse Wheaties for a million bucks, these guys endorse their party talking points for much more. So why should I not be fast forwarding their flippant tirades to promote a party rhetoric when most of it is based on opinion and half truths? Probably why no one can get one news story the same way anymore. It's always nuanced to fit the bumbling idiot listening to it.
