Good luck with the triathalon and the training! I agree with RBull....see if you can convince someone else to train with you, or find someone who's already training and train with them. It does wonders for motivation to have someone else there....that way if you're ever having an off day or just don't feel like working out, they can convince you and motivate you to do so (and vice versa).

Also, after you complete your first marathon, set a new goal....something equally or more difficult (something so you can't become complacent). I'm in the process of setting a new goal for myself because I recently achieved my old goal....now that I'm not quite sure what I want my next goal to be, my motivation is slipping a bit
