I think you miss the point I was trying to make. I am young enough to still understand what it's about. Yet I am old enough now to understand the establishment for what it is, and not merely express outrage at something that I can't control. I am not out of touch.

When I was what I consider young, and by young I do not mean a chronological age, but a different stage of life, I was more angry than you think you are. Sure to you, those are just words, therefore you cannot truly understand what were the depths of my anger.

i guess you really dont know what they are about if you want him to "just eat a dick". listen to "settle for nothing" or read the lyrics!
Again, with age comes wisdom and you will begin to understand that you cannot fight every battle. If has something that is truly profound and deserves to be expressed and heard by all, "eating a dick" is a small price to pay for getting this important message across, wouldn't you think? It's not selling out exactly, but more of a compromise. Get used to it, it's a way of life. When you are young, you may believe yourself to be uncompromising and willing to embrace your beliefs at all cost, but believe me, wisdom tempers that mentality. And with the wisdom comes the realization that all that angst doesn't do anything for you. For Zach, he has the ways and means to get his message across, whereas people like you and I do not.

Your outrage is nothing new. You are not the first to feel the way you do. It has been happening to society's youth for the last 50 years. If you are so outraged, do something about it. Do you not consider it hypocritical to try and express this outrage and support Zach's efforts merely through your perceived anger? Sell your G, go down there and do something about it. Actions defintely speak louder than words.

when talking politics which they did much of then yes it's believable but most of the band believed in the same thing. "Apparently he's a real prick, which is why he and Morello didn't get along"....you. dont be a b*tch and start believing "rumors" like everybody else then! I cant say Zach is a prick since i really dont know him but for someone to go to the slums of Mexico (Chiapas) to help and stay with them then he's far from a prick!

Regardless of what his humanitarian efforts are, and how much be believes in his causes, which by the way I concur with, it still does not change the fact that if you are the one that the rest of the band cannot deal with, and producers cannot deal with and his long awaited solo album which appears to have been canned in light of this new project, then guess what? It's not everyone else...it's you.

I do not mock at all, as I stated, I am a HUGE fan of RATM. Always have been, probably always will be. I'll be 50 years old and I'll still be cranking the sh1t out of my car.

Do you get what I am saying?
