but in other countries where small cars reigns i can see where the following would be. Here the states they get laughed at. but im sure they laugh at all the big V8s and such.... everyone loves big displacement motors and HUGE HP numbers with a alot of curb weight. but we are really the last country to follow the trend. we'll be there soon. when gas is 20 a gallon. or until they make an alternative fuel and capitalize on that.

When I was working at Nestle, we had some of the people from HQ in Switzerland come out for a visit and I got elected to drive.
At the time, I had an Excursion, with a 6" lift and 38" tires and they practically shat their pants. According to them, you NEVER see these trucks in Europe. Apparently in addition to their high cost of fuel, they pay an ungodly tax on vehicles that exceed a certain weight.
