Squealing Belt??????????????????
I have another strange problem with my car that might be related to the heat problem. I've noticed this as the weather has gotten cooler. Never had this problem in warm weather.
When I start my car after it's been sitting in the cold for about 2 hours, I hear a high pitched squealing noise coming from the engine bay. It will stop as after about 30 seconds as I drive away. It also squeals for a couple seconds after I come to a stop sign and accelerate in 1st gear. Seems like it is a frozen pulley or a warn out belt, but I just replaced both belts a couple thousand miles ago. I smell something that smells like burning rubber, without doing burn-outs, after the car has been driven a little while.
Any thoughts on what the problem could be? Maybe something is wrong with the drive belt/pulley system causing my HVAC to malfunction?

I'm really sorry, I don't have anything constuctive to say on the matter. Just wanted to say damn that must be embarrasing. Especially on a high end car like ours, I always see chevy cavaliers and lebaron's with squealing belts, never a g35. Hope you get it fixed soon or tint the front windows a lil more!

inspect your belts. This happened to me as you have describe exactly and it turn out to be a slightly cracked drive belt. Replaced it and its now room room perfectly. And i smell burnt rubber too when i push my car really hard or im doing 100+. Again i think the drive belt is the cause of the burn rubber smell. I recommend you inspect your belt for cracklines even if it's just a few thousand miles new. I replace my belt like 5or6 months ago, a good 2000 miles and it has squeak yet. But the crack belt was the cause for the squeaking when igniting the car.

There are two tensioners, one for the A/C belt and one for the drive belt. The one closest to the oil pan is for the drive belt.
I will tighten the belts more, but I'm afraid I will make them too tight. Is it even possible to cause damage if they are too tight? I don't have a belt measurement tool.

I just tightened the pulley where the bolt comes right down next to the oil pan. Didn't have a measurment tool, but I did a couple good turns of the bolt (next to the oil pan). Didn't stop squeeling at all. I didn't want to overtighten the belt. It seems the skinnier belt (the one behind the fatter one) is the one making the noise. Not sure if I need to tighten more or what. However, I am just going to hit up the dealer and get new belts put on. I don't want to overtighten or cause any damage.
