I f you can afford the 335I and plan to keep it less than 4 year or 50K miles get the 335. Unless you have plenty of cash and a second car. I usually keep my cars longer than 4 years. I would pass, and have pass on the 335 since the performance difference is not wide enough for me to spend the extra cash. Also maintaining a 335 long term scares the hell out of me financially.
Also BMW dealers are not known for quick repairs so make sure you have a second car or make sure the dealer will provide you with a loaner car as long as your car is in the dealer for service.
