I have not driven the 335, but plan to. I drove the G37 sedan yesterday since my '03.5 is pushing 110K and was interested in getting into a new G in the next few weeks. Lets just say I was not impressed at all.
Has 328HP on paper, but I dont know where they are. This car felt no faster than my G and did not handle as well either. The 7 speed auto was always searching and the sportshift mode still had major delay. The only advantage over my current car is that the road noise is improved.
I told him I wanted to drive a 6MT Sport, but he didnt have one. Says they are about 30:1 ratio to the autos and he'll have to call around to find one to test drive.
Anyway, the 335 is going to be my next target. Even if its a bit more expensive up front, they hold value better. Another interesting option is the 335D that is coming. 425 ft/lb of torque and about 25MPG city and 35 highway. Might hold out for that one as gas is going up again for sure.
