I don't put mine on until I am leaving the house but then I leave it on until I go to bed. I have found that sleeping with 7 pointy diamonds on my hand can lead to scratches and imprints on the side of my face that are not very pleasant to wake up to lol My husband only wears his when he is out of the house an takes it off when he gets home. It is what his parents did, they actually had separate rings for daily use and for special occasions they put their actual wedding rings on.

I would say that intentionally taking it off is a big no no in my book and it would lead to some serious discussion at the very least. I feel really strange if I leave the house without mine so if for some reason I forget, I go home and get it right away.
