Unhappy Ivory Pearl paint expensive?

Hi guys! New here and am looking to repaint my rear bumper on my 2004 G35 coupe. I found 2 large scratches on my parked car after returning from lunch, luckily no dents. My first scratches!!!! The first is approximately 12 inches and the second 6 inches! I was told that ivory pearl is difficult to match to the original body paint and was wondering if that were true. I'd like to find out how involved the process is to paint. I was wondering how much it might run me? I don't want to get ripped off on price and at the same time I don't want to take it someplace cheap and get a crappy paint job. If the paint involves such level of difficulty I'd like to take it to someone that can do a great job, if anyone has any referrals I'd REALLY appreciate it! I'm in Studio City, CA. Thanks so much in advance!

IP is a tough color to match. I would recommend checking out AutoExplosion in Gardena or R&J in Carson. I've seen their paint work on IP specifically and they do a great job matching it.

Pearl white is one of the most difficult colors to match. I believe there are multiple stages in order to paint a car pearl white from the factory.

These guys do a good job..

www.fvbodyshop.com (fountain valley body works).

Pearl is a 3 stage process. So it will cost you more. (base, pearl, then clear).

It sounds like those of you with experience would not be comfortable getting a new part painted just to a code like IP. How about something like BS? I'm thinking about picking up some aero parts and wondering if I need the colors matched locally by a bodyshop or could a dealer paint to the code KYO then bolt on directly.

yea ip is 3 stage paint which makes it more expensive on top of the fact that it can be tricky to match for some shops. the guy i go to actually told me its easy for him lol but he does a pretty good job tho

Yes, IP is hard to match.

My shop did a really good job... the 2nd time. Marcus (CandlestickPark) knows what he's talking about though.
