Leatherique

Hey guys I thought I would throw this out there, a friend told me about this amazing leather cleaner. its a 2 part system that has to be applied on a hot day.
First you apply the Rejuvinator with your hand, message it into the leather especially the spots that are getting worn in.
Next roll all windows up and park in the sun light and let it sit. The bottle says all day or at least several hours, I only had time for 3 hours, but it still worked very well.
After that take a soft towel an apply the prestine clean and then let that sit for several minutes. By the time you wipe all the seats down with the prestine you go back to the first seat with a lightly damp rag and clean the seats you will see all of the swet and gross dirt come out of the leather.
Finally clean all of the seats with a soft clean rag and then treat then with a leather protector.

Hope you guys like this stuff

Yulp! Great product just picked up some stuff from Greg from DI. I love it, I need to let it sit longer I got to anxious, it states you can leave it working for up to 48 hours! Man thats along time, Theres a thread on here I remember seeing. Here it is and check out, how Todd says to do it. I think next I will try to do it 100% like he says with the paint brush. Your method works well too I assume using your hand to applicate.

Waiting to hear what you use...Always interested in new or different products. Though the private jet you state probably makes it expensive compared to most and also hard for me to get.

I would have to say unequivocally, yes! I have used Lexol, and only Lexol for a WHILE and just recently switched to Letherique. I use it now and will stay with it because I know it works.

IMO Lexol is decent. Nothing really special as far as its cleaning effects. It's definitely gentle and won't cause any damage to the leather.

Maybe I gotta give this Leatherique stuff a try.

Lexol is different I believe that is more of a conditioner, it does work great for that, but leatherique is a deep cleaner and reconditioned. I used lexol in addition to the leatherique, although a friend of mine told me about another line to use with leahterique called zaino I may try that next.
If I do I will post about that, but for now I really like leatherique.

My leather is clean, but it is really rock hard. Is it supposed to be like that?

If I use leatherique, will it soften it up noticeably? I have a pretty strict 'if it isn't broken then don't fix it' policy. So would like to get some feedback on it before I dive in and give it a shot.

Thanks.

I doubt it, it is the quality of leather in our G's. Say what you will, but Audi has much softer/better quality leather and the new M's leather is noticeably better quality.
