Gorilla Glue on Paint

Just in case this happens to anyone else I figured I would let you know how I removed gorilla glue from my paint.

To start things off, I walked out to my car after work and someone had dripped Gorilla Glue on multiple cars. I think mine got it the worst. I had foam from the hood all the way to the trunk. (I wish I would have taken pictures).

So I got home and it was still a little gooey, I washed it and power washed the spots but nothing happened. I let the glue dry for about 2 days after that and then washed again. This time a few small pieces started to come off.

Then I pulled my clay bar our and it took it off with so much ease. I was amazed.

So if this ever happens to you let it dry and use a clay bar to remove it.

Now I just need to find out who it was and strangle them!

Thanks this is something we should all be aware of, and evidantly it didn't damage your paint....right? Good thing it wasn't "SuperGlue!"

Absolutely no damage was done. I think that if my car was already wet (raining or snowing) then it would have been a different story since Gorilla Glue has a reaction with water to make it stronger.

If it were super glue or it damaged my paint... lets just say whoever did it would need awesome health insurance.
