Jack Stands and the G

Well, I was "messing" around yesterday and thought that I would try and get my G up on Jack Stands. This is in preparation for installing my Exhaust System and Sways. Here's what I came up with...

...don't know if there is any real demand for these !
Also, I haven't tried the "Hockey Puck" method. I don't know if that would work any better but I know these work great !

Well, there's demand for at least one set. How much capacity do you have to build these? I'm sure that if you hooked up with an online vendor, like dave@partsshippers(just an example), then you'd basically have free promotion.

Anyway, how much for a set?

Got the "capacity" to do them but just don't have any spare time. Too many summer projects going on. Just thought I'd post some pics to give others some ideas.

i did the same thing. 4 jack stands to switch out my exhaust. worked like a charm. might have to do the same for my sway bars.

At first I tried looking for something that was "commercially" available.
No Such Luck !!
Then I thought about the "Hockey Puck" method. I thought that if I had to modify a Hockey Puck, I might as well take the time and "machine" something out of aluminum. I was looking for something that would locate precisely at the correct location (stock scissor jack lift point). After some "whittling", what you see is what I came up with.
It is very similar to what is shown in the Service Manual.
PM me if you are interested and maybe ...??
