To think, after 5 years you finally went through with it!

Upgrade Help

I am considering replacing my factory head unit with an aftermarket DD touch screen navi. Are the AC/Climate controls dependent on the factory head unit or the board behind it? To simplify; I may attempt to keep factory dash (NO kit) Cut to fit aftermarket DD Unit use original climate controls and install new DD H. Unit.

Thanks

ok. Another option I would consider is to acquire a 03-04 OEM unit with nav. I have the Bose w/o nav. Would I be able to just plug it in?
