power 12 volt

I just bought a used G, couple months ago, and I've purchased a set of aux in set. I have a noob question, is there a harness for these 2 cable behind head unit? and where would it located? is it pretty obvious to see? I plan to install it this weekend, hopefully someone can help me out. Thanks

I cant tell what AUX adapter you have, but yes, when you remove the radio, you find various plugs and the wiring harness.

Thanks to this thread I just installed my Auxilliary hookup

I used the same PAC AAI-NIS2 as here:

https://g35driver.com/forums/audio-video-electronics/99632-pac-aai-nis2-ipod-adapter-installation-guide-05-dash-removal.html. Thanks for the help!

I was able to keep my satellite and listen to the iphone 3g at the same time! AWSOME!

BTW, this thread really needs to be stickied as it is great for those of use with the MT car.

Hi I did this install today and followed this pictures, worked like a charm. However I was wondering if the cigarette lighter in the G35 coupe 2009 6MT is 12 volts. I bought an Ipod to RCA with charger but unsure it it will work because it says I must connect to 12 volt source. Thank in Advance.

What do you mean by this? The wiring is plug and play. No soldering. There is a spot down where the ash tray is, where I shoved the unit itself and there is a little less room behind the radio because of the extra plugs so it makes it a little harder to push the unit back into place but it fits.

Thanks!

Just installed mine as well. Just broke one clip on the side panel.

Connectors are hard to take off.
