Side Marker Fuse Blown

I blew the sidemarker / dashboard fuse and I'm having a hard time trying to figure out which one it is. I'm extremely irritated by the way nissan has made everything difficult on this fkin car. They just had to use those stupid *** super mini fuses in the drivers foot well area. I mean wtf, the fuse grip broke after the 3rd use, I just picked up a bunch of the larger ones to replace them with. Could it be that the sidemarker fuse is maybe located else where? Thanks!

I guess I solved my own problem.

The fuse, located behind the battery. (Nissan... why the **** would u put a fuse box behind the battery? **** you for doing this)

Any who, if your side markers, taillights and license plate lights are not working, this is where to check!

The laptop is not a necessary tool for this task, but it helps if you're referring to this page while doing the job

This 'bozi txa' wasted 2 hours of my day

I would like to thank you for the detailed write up - it helped me find the fuse box today when I was in a similar situation.

Additionally, unlike yours, my culprit wasn't the top 10a fuse, it was the rear tail fuse (third 10a fuse down from the top on the left hand side). So perhaps this could also help someone in a similar circumstance.

Thanks again.

That fuse box placement is such a PITA. I had to get in there to pull my ABS fuse to do standing burnouts at the track.

A pair of needle nose pliars works great for pulling those mini fuses and pretty much any other fuse.

the best money you can spend is investing in an Infiniti service manual. There is such a wealth of information which can make diagnosing and fixing simple (and even some complex) problems a whole lot easier.....

There is a learning curve, though, on how to navigate through the service manual....

hope this helps and I'm glad you found your fuse.

weird... I had the same problem, except everything is working except for the stupid *** dash after replacing 3 fuses. Is your dashboard working fine after fixing that fuse?

Yeah, they're pretty cheap. Take the blown one in and someone should be able to help you out.

How do you tell if a fuse is blown? Also, does anyone know if there are seperate headlight fuses for fog lights and low/high beams?

^The metal rod/wiring(?) inside the fuse will be broken. If they're connected, the fuse isn't blown.

Lol...took me a couple seconds to figure out what you were trying to say...at first I thought it was the certain type of fuse...then I remembered what my coworker says...usually that or "horus gleera xaxpi txa"
