New Alpine Install.

Just finshed installing the NEW Alpine IDA-X100 reciver in my Friends 03 Coupe. This is my second install to date. Tell me what you guys think.

BTW this is a pretty cool deck...It has bluetooth,USB/Ipod Audio and a new feature from alpine called IMPRINT which is supposed to be a super advanced audio equalizer.
I might just pick one up for my G next week.

Yeah the buttons do look kinda cheap, I would have gone with another Dash kit but this was one of the few that allowed you to keep the dual climate control.

Headunit: 400
Dash kit: 175
Nissan wire kit:20
total: 595.00

Note: I have seen this headunit cheaper online so if you shop around Im sure you can get a better price.
Are you doing the install your self?

It is a little bit more complex from the factory system but all in all...it is straight forward.

Yes it will still power the bose just as factory HU does

Hondas or so damn easy. My Accord required taking the clock out (fingers or credit card works), one screw behind it, and two screws on the bottom of the bezel and that's it. The G has a bit more to it, but doesn't seem difficult at all.

I have the exact set-up on my sedan, but the damn thing turns itself off, like it's not grounded correctly. How did you ground the unit? I guess I'll just have to go through the wires and double check everything.

for grounding radios you can just use the stock radio harness. check the wire, you prob didn't crimp it right or something.
