I had the same problem with my 07. The brake fluid level is very sensitive to setting off the warning lights. Even if the level is between the minimum and maximum it can trigger the warnings. I added less than 2 ozs of brake fluid and my lights went out.
But Note: also ensure your brake pads are still in good condition.
