KDC-MP242 Head Unit Install

Hi there,

My bose 6 cd changer crapped out on me. So I ordered a JDM DD and a KDC-MP242 headunit. I also ordered the following parts:

Metra 70-7550 Radio Wiring Harness For Nissan 95-Up Power 4 Speaker
Metra 40-NI10 Nissan Antnna Adapter
PAC SWI-PS Sony and Pioneer Steering Wheel Radio Control Interface

Is there anything else I need? Where can I get a "pocket" to install in the other DIN that will be empty?

Thank you

Also, I forgot to mention that I read about people having sound quality issues when installing a new headunit with the stock bose amplifier. Is there something I need to tell my installer to do so that I can avoid these issues? In general, will sound clarity and loudness increase with the installation of a new headunit since it has a built in amp?
