does this sub+amp combo work out?

so i picked up 2 JL 10" w6v1 the other day and it came with an Alpine V-Power MRP-F450. now i was wondering if this is a good amp for the subs or should i get a different one?

BTW how are the zenclosure enclosures? The box that the subs came with look ****ty as hell and im thinkin about a zenclosure

look at a more powerful amp... something around 800watts for the 2 should be good

stay with a brand name.
JL, Alpine, Focal, Audison depends on your budget really. The old rule of thumb was $1/watt but since ebay that's been kyboshed.

Make sure you you consider power needs. My 08 XS will draw close to 42 amps for all systems combined. The alternator is a 110 amp with maybe a 30% fat factor.

An 800 watt class d amp will be maybe 90%, an class a or b considerably less.

This would mean up to about 69 amps at 13 volts. Add in the rest of your sound system, will you exceed your stock alternator?
