03 G35 Sedan Bose Deck Trouble
Hey guys, I did brose around with the search option before posting, perhaps I missed or there wasnt the exact description I was looking for an answer to so I am just going to post.
My New g35 is near flawless, except for a few things, and one of them being the radio.
Many different things happen, I can hit a bump, or turn a corner and lose half the speakers, only to turn again and get them again.
Sometimes certain ones are just off, and then back on at random.
Then other times, certain speakers will sound blown with terrible distrotion, also something that can go away after a speed bump or the next day driving.
Sometimes if I am driving and lose one or 3 speakers, stomping on the floorboard of my car while driving will also render a cut into or loss of kind of result.
But basically its always doing one of these things.
Is there a fix or is my deck also fubar?

Intermittent failure could be either the resistors slightly lifting from the circuit board, or the ribbon cable. Both are fixable with some skill.
Ribbon cable fix - Try first, since it's less involved and generally needs no parts:

A little more complicated - the resistors:

Update in case it matters. I did not take anything apart yet. However I read about people slapping the side of the console by the deck for a quick fix. So I tried it and rendered these results =
Hitting the side of the deck console from the drivers side, I get my left front back or distorted, slap to the passenger side of the console I lose the left and other random angles every time. Its like an on off switch from either side.
Do these results change anything? Leave me hoping its the ribbon?
