Replacing the stereo to have bluetooth connectivity?

Hey guys I own a 2004 G35 coupe, and I'd really like to replace the stereo unit have something that can stream bluetooth audio for my phone (calls and music), rather than having to plug it in.

If I were to get something like this, how much would it be, after installation? (Also what was that place that did the 1$ install? They were famous here in AZ...)

Ultimately I'd prefer something more like voice control (a la SYNC in Ford vehicles), but I am unsure if that is possible. If anyone knows anything about this, I'd love to hear it and how much it costs! Thanks!

I have a pioneer appradio 3 that does all of the above. Many other modern stereo head units can do all of these above things also. How much are you willing to spend because it can be very pricey.

See the sticky double din install by Wrathernaut.

I'd really prefer to not spend over 500-600, but I am willing to go higher if it actually has everything I want and more. Is that reasonable?

Stereo and all necessary cables for a good stereo is about 5-6, tack 200 for install or more depending on location.

Oh really? Interesting.. That might be doable.. Where would I look to do this? I don't have the technical know how to do this on my own. :/

Already answered your question in the first response. That has literally everything you need. You definitely need the PAC module listed there or your Bose will blow.

But I already said I do not know how to do it on my own. Will that thread show me where I can have this done?

It will show you everything you need to purchase, but you will have to call around to see some price quotes. Do you have a best buy near you? Give them a call.

Ah ok. I googled that pioneer thing and I can get one with all the stuff needed for installation and everything, and I just bring that to best buy and they would put it in my car? That's awesome.

Judging from the lack of horror stories from Best Buy installs, I have to assume that the instructions and parts they use for our cars are good. The skill of their techs varies, but again, a lack of bad experience posts about them and how common Best Buy is, they seem to be a good standby if you don't have a well-respected local shop that can do it for you.

I'd check with the Best Buy you're planning to use, to make sure they'll install with customer-procured parts. Some may be unwilling to warranty their work if they don't use the parts specified in their corporate instruction book, leaving you on the hook for re-installation, even if it might be their fault.

Awesome! Thanks for the help. I'm going to check with my local best buy here in a minute and see what they can do, and how much it'd be.

That being said though, I see different models with the Pioneer AppRadio 3.

Not sure if I can post links, but here are the two I am referring two. What is the difference between these two, and why would I want the most expensive version?

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130SPDA...0624705&awdv=c

http://www.pacificstereo.com/pioneer...FRWRfgodSIcAFg

Also, the first one, being much cheaper, I should likely go with that right?

I'm looking through the tech specs, but all of them seem to be the exact same thing??

The only difference between the DA210 and the DA110 is that the DA210 can play CD/DVDs. The cheaper DA110 has NO disk media capabilities.

Just got to decide if you'll actually watch DVDs, or listen to CDs, or just use the screen mirroring to display Netflix instead.

i think the cheapest and the cleanest solution would be getting a GROM unit or those USA SPEC units.. they r like $120.. shops will probably charge like $120 install or so?
