6mt double din

So I've been searching and all I can find is how to remove the panels to replace the stereo in an automatic, can't figure out how to remove the shifter trim in my 6mt so I can get everything else off to do the stereo. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great, I just don't want to pull up on the thing and snap it off.

There's video of it in the sticky at the top which covers both AT and MT. The guy who made it is freakin' awesome, he did the entire install for me.

Ah ha, I don't even know how I missed the video on there. I looked at that sticky before and thought it was all just for the wiring stuff. I really need to stop using the internet while they still have me on painkillers.

Well thank you Wrathernaut, my girlfriend will appreciate getting my old stereo now that I can pull it out. On a side note, that AT dash and shifter trim looks better than her 04. Is it doable to swap the dash's out for one from like an 06-07 or is it more hassle than it's worth?

Not worth it, you have to swap everything from the under the windshield to the floor.

Ah ok. Too bad, looks much nicer.
