new to forum, but a lil prob with my speakers
hey guys. just became a member! i bought a black 04 g coupe with 45,000 kms. The speakers hadnt given be a problem until today, the bose deck seems to be completely fine aswell
just today when i turned the key a quarter way and the cd was playing there was no sound. then after i fiddled with the volume for a bit and it started to work again, for about 10 mins until i wanted to fast forward a song and did it through the bose deck, as it was fast forwarding it suddenly cut out, and no more sound. I'm not sure what could have caused it to cut out. do the speakers stop working after a while if the car is just running on the battery and not turned on completely? cause I'm not sure why this has happened. thanks

Yeah, low mileage, but your radio isn't a moving part, so it doesn't matter how many times the wheels rotate. Age is age.
The radios on these cars are particularly problematic, so if you plan on keeping the car, expect to have to replace it anyway.
It could just be the bose amplifier going out, they're less failure-prone than the radio, but still go out.
