Where to power the 6x9's ?
Hey guys,
Quick question.
How should I power the 6x9's?
Theoretical setup.
Headunit: TBA
Alpine 4 Channel Amp
Alpine Monoblock
Pioneer A series 6.5 Components (Front Doors)
Pioneer A series 6.5 Coaxials (Rear)
Pioneer A series 6x9 (Rear parcel shelf)
Pioneer 12" Sub
The splits and coaxials will be powered by the 4 channel amp
The sub will be powered by the monoblock
Where should I power the 6x9's from? The headunit?
I tried looking for some 6 channel amps, but they're either hella expensive or of inferior quality.
Car: 2003 G35 Coupe.
Thanks guys,
Vik

jl xd600/6 is a nice small footprint amp that would provide you what you are looking for. idk what your budget is though. you could power the 6x9s with the hu as it will mostly just be rear fill but in all honesty you wont need them, the 6x9s are like mini subs, if you are running a sub you can just get rid of them all together and leave the holes open so the bass can enter the cabin easier. the rear 6.5s or 6x9 could be run off the hu as you will want most of your music from the front stage anyway
