Hey guys, sorry if I'm posting in the wrong part. I'm new here.
My car 04 sedan, has folding mirrors already but I would like to add signals to them and make them both folding and plus signal when I'm about to turn.

Is this hard to do and what do I need to buy ? I saw an old thread but the links posting the instructions did not work. Anyone who has done this please help me as I would love the look on my car and would love to try this project. Thanks.

you will have to run additional wires through the door molex which is a HUGE pain. you will probably have to remove the doors to do it

 

I have an 04 black sedan. Can anyone post links for the mirror sognal covers and insfructions please ? If i dont have to buy the entire mirrors as my car is stock, i could just refit the jdm mirror covers oveelr it. Thanks guys.

Thanks for the link but I don't even know how that relates to my question ? Care to explain or guide me a bit here? All I see is a bunch of manuals with no way of recognizing which is for what without opening every single one of me when it's over a 100 of me.

 

Choose sedan folder. Download 2004 folder. Keep it all together. Start with the "fwd" PDF file. You can navigate to chapters from there. The fwd file is a linked PDF table of contents.

 

start with the hardest step. open the door, unclip that door molex, drill holes in the empty slots and run 2 new wires through them. if you can get through this step, the rest is a breeze. just buy the covers wire them up then tap the wires on the inside of the car to the turn signals. i really think you might be in over your head. this isnt a quick and easy swap like just swapping out the mirrors
