Pretty much standard on audio installs nowadays :/ ^.

My Honda had so many problems until these two little things were done.

Enter player #2!
Went to the Pawn shop and grabbed a Nexus 7 running 4.3 for a perdy good price. This will be used to show engine diagnostics via Torque along with whatever the hell else I decide it to do. Plus my nav screen was rendered useless, and nothing of quality could fit in the lcd bezel. Bout to fiberglass the hell out of this thing!

Another one, awesome lmao. Do you know if this ugly thing will run torque? > http://www.microcenter.com/product/448360/A745_Tablet

I would integrated this into my car temporarily time to time to read codes and general duckery.

looks overly cheap lol. I havn't actually ran the torque app before. I guess if it shows up in the play store it should work. I'd do some research on the tablet to see what version android it runs. if it's still in gingerbread I'd steer way clear

I don't like torque all that much. But dash command is fun.

Gettin the bezel 'glassed up. Really wish I had a shed to work in. My house is gunna need a lot of air fresheners haha. I mounted the tablet where I wanted and formed the fiberglass over it so it can slide up in there and be secured from behind the bezel. The black cardboard will represent the visible screen area of the tablet. Yes, this means its more difficult to take the tablet out, but if it's hard for me, it's definitely hard for a thief.

I also got my $5 vinyl wrap in and, well it looks like $5 vinyl wrap lol. I plastidipped my info panel bezel on the dash in black and it looks really good against the tan interior, so I'm probably going to do that with this bezel too. The thickness of dip will also help hide slight impurities. I'm no professional by any means, but it will look pretty good when I'm done.

Here is dash command. Definitely better looking than torque and you can create your own dashboards. Notice the nissan and 350gt logo

OOOOOO I like that.

Here's another progress pic. Starting to look like a reality now. Fiberglass sucks @ss to sand, especially when your BRAND NEW Dewalt palm sander craps out a day after you bought it.... Back to Home Depot! (To get the Makita this time)

Just a tip. If you want to do quick clean fiberglass. Look at buying cast tape. You soak it in water and it's quick and painless
