Went to the Pawn shop and grabbed a Nexus 7 running 4.3 for a perdy good price. This will be used to show engine diagnostics via Torque along with whatever the hell else I decide it to do. Plus my nav screen was rendered useless, and nothing of quality could fit in the lcd bezel. Bout to fiberglass the hell out of this thing!

Gettin the bezel 'glassed up. Really wish I had a shed to work in. My house is gunna need a lot of air fresheners haha. I mounted the tablet where I wanted and formed the fiberglass over it so it can slide up in there and be secured from behind the bezel. The black cardboard will represent the visible screen area of the tablet. Yes, this means its more difficult to take the tablet out, but if it's hard for me, it's definitely hard for a thief.

I also got my $5 vinyl wrap in and, well it looks like $5 vinyl wrap lol. I plastidipped my info panel bezel on the dash in black and it looks really good against the tan interior, so I'm probably going to do that with this bezel too. The thickness of dip will also help hide slight impurities. I'm no professional by any means, but it will look pretty good when I'm done.
