Under Seat Powered Sub in 2005 G35 Coupe with OEM Bose
Hello all. I tried searching the forum for how to install an under seat powered sub, however most of the posts I found dealt with installing subs and amps in the trunk. I have a 2005 G35 Coupe with the OEM Bose system.
I was looking at buying a Dual BAK 1500 under seat 10" powered sub.
So looking at some other posts of how trunk amps/subs are installed, and based on this wiring diagram (Thanks jonfromm), I'm guessing I'm going to have to tap into the wires from the Blue harness marked as "Powered Speaker Signal Out" with a line output converter (Scosche LOC80?) to connect a very long RCA cable to from the trunk to sub under the passenger seat.
Am I on the right track here?

Plus these seats have airbags, I'd personally be leary about putting a vibration machine that puts out EMI directly under the wires that trigger those things.

Thank you!
That's something I didn't think about. I have confirmed there is NO room under the seats.
Having said that, If I were to do this I can't understand how I would connect the power and ground wires to this thing. Based on this diagram is there a harness I would have to buy and wire these wires into? It seems like a sub in the trunk is going to be easier LOL.
