I am starting this thread for everyone to post pics of there custom systems. I am sick of scrolling through 100's of posts to look at different members setups. Please post pics of you custom setup and a description of your audio equipment. Please identify what equipment you have used. PLEASE DO NOT ASK QUESTIONS OR COMPLEMENT SOMEONE'S SYSTEM. -This will help keep this thread directly to the point and keep it from being 100 pages. -If you have any questions or you would like to compliment someone's system, PLEASE SEND THEM A PM. PLEASE STOP TYPING SH*T IN THIS THREAD. IF YOU HAVE A QUESTION PLEASE SEND THAT MEMBER A PRIVATE MESSAGE This thread is here for the sole purpose of showing off your custom setup's. Members can post up what they have done and pics of their work in progress or completed work. This thread does not need a lot of activity. This is a sticky at the top of the forum so that people can look at other peoples set ups. If people comment on everything this thread will become pages long. To keep this from becoming pages long, like the modded picture threads, members should send a PM to the member in which they have a question for. It gets tedious when you have to scroll through 15 pages when all you wanna do is look at peoples setups and what they have. If you feel that you would like to receive comments on your setup, please create a new thread. Creating your new thread will allow you to go into more detail.

Ipod integrated thru USA SPEC PA-11 in the ashtray. The system incorporates Diamond Audio HEX's in the front, crappy *** JL audio XR's for rear fill (Bias is to the front of course), JL 10W7, JL 500/1, JL 450/4, false floor w/dual fans, neons, custom fiberglass box for the 10w7, 1/2" plexi, Stinger wires & fuse distribution, all new 12 guage wire to speakers, remote bass **** near VDC button, all designed/installed by yours truly.

Here's what I have...
Stinger battery under the hood

Zapco EQ mounted in storage unit above the glove box, now fiber glassed in (need a new pic)
JL Audio 1000/1 pushing (2) JL Audio 12w6s in a ported box
JL Audio 450/4 pushing MB Quart QSD 216 components in each door
Dynamat in the trunk


The trunk is finished in vinyl and has a raised Infiniti logo between the subs. This system is loud and very clean as anyone who heard it at the Santa Cruz II run can tell you. I'm waiting for the Clarion 675 unit to come out later this year to replace the head unit.

One of the other members requested this be on this post so here it is.

We recently finished this install for a current G 35 forum member "VIV" hence the subwoofer grill. This was quite a project but enjoyed every step of the process. Every piece you see is HAND Machined in house by us to keep tolerences tight and quality at the absolute highest caliber which this car definatly deserves. "This perticular vehicle is a lease by the way, which means that we did not cut any of the factory panels so the vehicle can be put back to stock at the end of the lease" Hope you like the finished product. I've got an Orion h2 12" woofer on an Orion d5000 with a 2 ohm load so it only puts out around 1600-1700 watts instead of the 2500 at 1 ohm. It was my first fiberglass install, and I'm thinking about moving the amp under the floor of the trunk with a drilled plexiglass cover, so you can see the illuminated logo of the amp.

I am going to put glass over the amps and then put lights behind them (they are up on spacers)




The subs are angled towards the ski pass. I removed the door, and made sure the box was sealed on every other side except the front, this keeps notes from traveling back and coming in out of phase. The sound takes the path of least resistance through the ski pass.
