They are not recomended for CF hoods,unless it is a Stillen Hood.
If you can wait they are suppose to be making me some with less pressure.

The only problem i had was after they were installed and then I changed fenders they tore up my paint on the fenders by rubbing. This has happened to few members....be careful

In your opinion was the damage preventable? Say for instance, could the damper been angled more or installed on a different mount? I've been reading up on these and comparing them to the Tein. I would like a damper but not at the cost of paint flakes.

Yes it was preventable. It happened after my car went to the body shop..Sundeviljay had an issue also same spot had to move the hood. Damaged his paint also..I heard of others complaining of same thing......Not Knocking Randy or his work, but when you remove the fenders the hood needs adjusting before closing..Close the hood slow..

I have been hitting mine with a hammer, sitting on them with weights and I can not get mine to compress. Any ideas?
