DIY Replacing Clearance/City Fogs/HID bulbs

Who the hell would remove the bumper for this?
Thanks for posting this. I dont know why the manual tells you to rip the entire front of the car off to get to the bulb. Ridiculous. I did jack the car up just because it seemed easier. But I bet you dont even have to do that if you enjoy cursing and that sort of thing. Def do not need to remove the wheel tho. Was not hard at all. Phillips bulb cost me $37 on amazon. For some reason that yellow wire was not connected to the socket cap thing. When I re-installed I slid the connector back on. I also replaced the clearance light and that was a little more annoying to re install. I know the manual says that this bulb is a T10 5W bulb but all the forums said it was a 194 and/or 168 wedge. So I just took the old bulb out and brought to the auto parts store. The man told me that T10 was just the style and that 194 was an older style usual, and 168 is more common now. So thats what he gave me a 168 bulb for 50 cents. When re-installing the clearance there are 3 little notches at the base of the stalk and you will notice one is bigger than the other 3. I made sure this one lined up with the corresponding larger opening and then turned clockwise to lock it in. Little bit of a bitch but I really got my head in there to see whats up and with 1 hand on the bulb I finally got it. Might be worth getting a better bulb for these clearance lights I am thinking, looks cheap and weak. But I hear the Leds burn out quicker so I figured I would just match up the other side bulb and never have to look at this again. My other headlight is only a few years old since was replaced. So hopefully dont have to touch that side ever.

Need help guys!
My driver side headlight looked orange/purpleish compared to where it used to be. The color difference is really noticeable compared to the passenger side.
My question is, will it get fixed if I buy the oem D2S replacement bulbs? or is the ballasts the culprit? This is for an 06 coupe. I'd appreciate the replys guys. THank You
