DIY: Door sill/trim removal?

How do u remove the door trim/sills located on the outside of the door

there are holes in the doors behind the mouldings on sedans. If you remove them you have to get the holes filled and doors repainted.

yea but how do u remove the sillls? do u have to take off the whole inside of the door?

Do you know were I could get some pics with the sill off and how many holes there are and such. I might want to pay to get them filled in..ect

It's held on by double sided tape, use dental floss and a blow dryer/heat gun. Same process as debadging.

I believe there are 3-4 holes in each door.

o ok thanks, and the holes are just clips that u can pop in and out ?

They are clips. You have to be careful (I used a plastic trim tool to depress the clip part so as not to break them). When you pull the trim piece you'll see that it has two pieces that need to be depressed (on each side of the clip) in order to remove it. It was kind of tricky, but I found that if you just press in one side it usually will pop out.
