^ I'm trying to get rid of that color in my car, just too much going on with the light tan, and brown, and aluminum, and black, so I decided I want to get rid of all the aluminum, and replace some of the light tan with black. I might even replace the brown with black suede later down the road.

Plus my main reason was because mine were scratched quite badly (as you can see in the 1st pict)

I guess you could probably use a primer and something like wheel paint to get the aluminum look...

Hilarious DIY. I had a good laugh out of it.


This picture made me laugh the hardest... especially since I took Organic Chemistry a year ago.

haha very nice! i did mine a few months back only i went 400,600,800,1200,1500 wetsand and just left them black plastic. this way theyll never scratch or flake

haha very creative. I painted mine gunmetal, i used 600 grit tho

anyone know of a good paint that closely matches the factory silver? Doesn't have to be exact but would be nice if it was close
