Put the spacers on. You will notice you wont get the lights anymore. Here are the full install instructions on the fronts:

I believe the spacers he is referring to look like the red shims in this image:

I have a question as well. I have an 2K4 G35 coupe with brembos with the SPC front camber kit installed. I'm having the issues when I am applying brakes and just about coming to a stop. I hear a spring like noise (Doing! Doing! Doing!) and feel slight pulsating in my brake pedal. I'm pretty sure it is my ABS magnet sensor going nutz as I had taken my car to my mod friendly dealership and they had fixed it. They were not clear on how they did it other than they told me that they had to clean my ABS brake sensor.
Now the issues is back again. What causes this problem and are you familiar with it? I have the spacers already installed.

I have a queation about SPC rear kit. Please see my other post here: MachIII vs. SPC -- 0:2
The shop tried twice and could not align me in spec with only ~1 inch lowering. I would like to ask for your advice: are the shop mechanics incompetent? What could be the reason? Should I try another alignment shop?
Thanks!

Well, without diagnosing the problem, its hard to say. The SPC Kit has full instructions that you can show them. It has a range of 3 degrees in the negative side to be adjusted, and with a 1" lowering spring, you shouldn't be running into this problem. Show them the instructions, and see if they were doing something wrong. If they cannot complete the install, take the vehicle elsewhere.

I have a 2005 G35 Coupe, 19" Bridgestones, sport suspension, 100% stock. I'm trying to figure out if I need a front camber kit or not.

Got new tires approx 3000 miles ago, front camber is approx -0.92 on each side. Toe was way off, alignment brought that back to spec.

A couple of questions: First, is the -0.92 front camber enough to cause the tire feathering/horrid noise? Or is it as some have speculated the incorrect toe that was the main contributer? I'm trying to determine if I need a front camber kit or not.

Second, if I do get one installed, after it's installed would an "average" alignment technician be able to figure out how to adjust it properly and accurately?

I love my G, just dont want to have to go through the awful feathered tire noise again.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Eddie,

I have a question I was hoping you could help me with. I have the SPC front camber kit and am lowered 1" in front with the Z-springs in my sedan. My front right suspension has been creaking for about 6-7 months now and I finally decided to take action & bring it into the dealership.

Long story short, they thought they fixed the problem & replaced the front compression rods all-together, along with the front right control arm too. Well, my car STILL makes the sound and he said it could be the aftermarket kit. Are there any known creaks that can occur with this kit and what can I do to fix this???? It is a VERY annoying sound. Is it the red par that looks like a nipple in the diagram?

Any help would be very much appreciated!!!!

Thanks,

Jim

I have Tein 350Z H spring at the front for 2004 G35 coupe, I haven't do the alignment for while(at least more then 6 months) and recently I noticed that pair of my front inner tires (245/35/19) are wearing out bad compare to the outter side. What do I need beside purchase new pair of front tires? If I purchase the suggestion, will the product help me reach to factory alignment setting? I know my alignment is off since I upgrade from 18" to 19" plus wider tire all around.

Thanks for the help.

Alright im running Tanabe DF210's on my car and SPC fronts and rear camber correction kits. Installed both myself, toe bolts and arms in the rear and JUST the adj. A arms in the front because of my fear of the VDC, SLIP, and ABS lights coming on after hearing everybodies proplems. I have the non revised kit on my 2003 G35 6sp brembo. With everything installed MINUS the spacers i had NO lights and went in for alignment, and got the rear in spec with no issues. The fronts needed additional adjument and i wanted the additional adjustment anyway for principal reasons of the fact that thats what i paid for with the kit and it made no sense to have half my kit i paid for still sitting in the box. I then installed the spacers, installation was simple and without problem until i was finished and took the car out for the test drive around the block... here we go VDC, SLIP, and ABS lights. Please make my lights go away, i have taken the abs sensors on and off 3 separate times and re adjusted (not much adj. to do there) and still the lights come on. Did i really spend this much money on a product that half of it is still going to sit in the box and not save my tires from pre mature wear?

After reading the Poll thread it keep saying its installer error. I didnt mangle anything was very easy on the brackets i have the star washer and nut for the ABS sensor bracket. I think tomorrow ill take a photo of both sides and tell me if i installed them sh1ts on the wrong side as thats the only thing i can think of if i didnt mangle them.

***Update***
Woke up this morning and went to take the pics, and attempted to use a flat head like one other member mentioned to pry the sensor back ever so slightly. Put the wheels back on and drove it around the block, what do yah know the damn lights went away. Will go in for final alignment next week to dial it in but so far so good.

For the rear bolt, this is re guarding my g35 AWD sedan but might help others as well, the bolt should be a simple pull out and put in, as to the cutting of the hole making it a little wider, what if we made the hole a little bigger then what the spacer gave us..

is it going to wiggle around in there resulting in incorrect alignment after a while?

I've also wondering the reason for cuttting that space, i think its to allow for the bolt to have more range of motion for the alignment rather then a design flaw is this true?

i just ordered mine, cant wait to install. after i get it installed, how easy is it to adjust the camber? the shop refuses to set up a negative camber for it, must be factory settings. so i might have to det the camber adjustments myself to get my wheels to fit. should be easy right, like coilover adjustments?

The balljoint slides in the arm. It's one bolt. They won't do anything other than factory settings? Find yourself a different alignment shop.
