im lowered on eibachs and just installed spc camber f+r, now my abs lights are on, and my vdc thinks my tires are slipping. i cant drive anywhere w/o turning my vdc off.. and now i cant even turn it on or off manually with the button. it stays off.. i had 20's on my car and put 17's on for the winter. i bought taller profile tires to make sure the total radius was even (26 inches). i need help on how to get my car to work again with out it thinking its slipping so i can drive with my vdc on and to get my abs lights off.. help!

check out spcperformance.com, they have an install guide. might want to check if the spacers were installed, i think they are supposed to help prevent the abs sensor problems

front and rear installed tonight but the toe bolts couldn't go on yet because the shop's grounding tool is out for repair. i will get the rear toe bolts on in a few days.

the VDC, slip and ABS lights are on. they came on within a few miles of leaving the shop. because it was late at night, i'm going back tomorrow. some spacers were used, but i have some left over. what is the solution here? more spacers? is it the toe bolts not being in (-.38/-.37 toe in the rear) that is causing the lights to come on? would like to have some suggestions for the shop before i go back tomorrow night.

thanks!

The rear toe bolt should not be throwing the codes, its in the front where you are having the issue. The sensors are not in a secure position and are not lining up with the rest of the OEM Sensors. This needs to be adjusted. This procedure is common on all Luxury vehicles and was originally used by the Germans (BMW, Mercedes etc.) The tech's, if experienced, should have no problem re-aligning everything to factory spec to eliminate the lights.

yeah the tech is experienced. so i should point out that the sensors need to be re-aligned? i have the results of the overall alignment and the front is well within spec.

what is the difference between the old SPC A arms and the revised version? Does the revised version have less issues with the abs issue?

ever heard of this issue?

today, I pulled all of my rotors to get them "turned down" a bit. I had a shake under braking and figured that one of more of the rotors was warped. turned out that just my passenger rear rotor was warped.

also, while I had the front rotors out, I decided to install the optional 2 degree camber plates that come with the SPC front camber/caster arms. I had been running the SPC arms for a long time with no issues, but I like to run as much caster as possible and I couldn't get the camber straight enough with full caster dialed. so, I installed the additonal 2 degree plates and brackets.

anyways, the install was perfectly fine.

the problem I have is that my Tire Pressure Monitoring System light is permanently lit up. It won't go away. I have aftermarket wheels and don't have any TPMS sensors in the wheels. It has been this way for over 3 years. previously, the TPMS light would only come on about about 50 mile of highway (continuous) driving. that was fine, but I don't like having this light on all the time on the dash.

Does anyone have any inight as to the problem? I'm not sure how they could possibly be related? One other note........my battery died while I had the car on the lift and I used my shop charger to charge the battery after the install was done. do you think the TPMS could have shorted out or something similar when the battery died or during charging?

Help! thanks, Andrew

hey Eddie....i need your help here please....
I purchased a set of Stance coilover and SPC rear camber kit from you a year ago but i been having a few problems with my set up. 1st problem, the rear wheel rubs against the coilover sleeve when i get up my drive way at an angle. My wheel is Sevas R77 20x10 with camber at approximately from 0 to -2.12 and my drop is around 1-1.5". 2nd problem, the ride is too stiff, rough even i try to adjust the shock absorber. what is the purpose for the "toe bolt" because i didn't install my

thanks Eddie
