thanks Eddie
Ok lets go question by question here.

1. What is the offset on your wheels? This is probably the issue with the wheel rather than the coilover.
2. Are they installed properly? Re-check and make sure your install had no preload set to it at all.
3. Toe bolt adjusts toe on the rear wheels. If you got the parts installed and the alignment was in spec without them, you can re-sell them or just keep them around. If not, Get those put on.

i am not good at offset and i don't even know what is my offset now, how do i measure my offset?. do i require to put on toe bolts along with camber kit? do you have any pic of how the toe bolts perform? What can i do now to avoid rubbing the wheel to the coilover adjustment sleeve.

thanks for your help Eddie

When you purchased the wheels, it should have a description like this:

"Axis 7 Wheel 20x10.5 +44..."

That +44 is your offset from the hub. Your wheel may be coming in too much and hitting the coils. Again, you dont have to put in the toe bolt.

What can i do now to avoid rubbing the wheel to the coilover adjustment sleeve? My problem could be solve by adjusting the camber (straigth up the wheel) but when i do that the wheel will twist inward toward the front....something look like this |/|---|\| what are other parts do you have for rear camber adjustment because i noticed there is another arm that go from the rear quarter panel chassis to the hub.... thanks

does only a misalignment with the front arms/sensors trigger the vdc/slip lights?

I had the front arms (no spacers) installed last week with no lights. Last night did rear arm/toe bolt. Now the lights are on. I'm assuming it's b/c it's so far out of alignment. At the shop now so I'll find out soon.

I'm dropped about 1" on Cobb springs.

Hello Eddie, i think you could help me...i have the front spc camber kit, it was installed about two years ago. About a little bit under a year the A-arm popped out of the socket cause the sorry a$$ tech that installed it used the crown nut without a washer instead of the oem nut. Now the red bushing (i think that's what its called) is now all torn up. And when i drive i hear a knocking or clunk noise whenever i go over a small bump or small pothole. Could the balljoint have gone bad? and if that is the problem could i have it replaced?

noob question...whats the diff. between the front old spc camber kit and the revised front spc camber kit?
thanks in advance!

Hey Eddie!

I installed the fronts on my Z over the weekend with my BC coils. However, I'm running into a problem that, for the life of me, I cannot figure out.

I'll try as best I can to describe this in full, so please stick with me lol! (Oh, and props to you for this thread man, really cool)

Anyway, when I hit hard bumps I'm getting a noticeable (metal) clunking. I dropped everything down and retorqued it all, the noise seems to be quieter but very much still there.

For the record, I have 20mm spacers on the front with factory 06+ wheels/tires - the coils are on (almost) the hardest setting and lowered exactly one inch. I've never heard rubbing on a car that was lowered so I don't know what that would sound like. Though I did look on the inner fender and the tire and don't really see anything noticeable? Could the A-Arm be contacting the upper part of the body of the car? I did not install the spacers behind the rotor. I don't know if I will be needing the extra + camber adjustment and before I rip it apart I want to take it to the alignment shop to see if it's necessary.

With the A-Arms they give 8 rubber bushings with the kit. They say if the A-Arm is contacting the body on jarring bumps or hard cornering to add the washers to the existing bump stops on the shocks. But with coilovers I don't see how I could do that?!

I'll have to re-read the paper they gave me with those rubber bump stops. This really only happens on jarring bumps. Every moderate to hard bump it's silent (exactly how it should be). But on a very hard sudden hit there is some sort of metal hitting metal sound. If I hit a solid bump all the way across the road, both sides do it evenly. If I hit a bump on just the right side of the road, just the right side will make the noise.

Someone suggested that it might be my endlinks. However, I don't think this is the case. I will look at them closely tonight but I would think it would happen over lighter/moderate bumps as well if they were bad. Ugh, this is stressing me out... just want it to work the way it should

I just had an alignment done today. I have the SPC front and rear camber kits with the toe bolts installed. My tech wasn't able to get the front camber any better then -1.5, but I don't have the spacers installed. If I install the spacers will I be able to get the additional positive camber needed to bring the front back into spec?

hi, i have problem with brake system, and i brought it to infiniti dealership to inspec. somehow the SPC camber kit is causing the ABS think the tires are sliping which causes the pulsation. When they took off the camber kit the pulsation is gone. why is that? what can i do?

* The distance from tire to edge of fender is 1 finger.

Fronts were re-designed based upon the angle of the arm. The ball joint stayed the same. Call up SPC 1-800-525-6505 and ask for Jeff. He can aide you in the process.

Yes, you will have 3 degrees of positive to pull up.

Have you aligned the car yet? This is the main issue with the camber kits. Once people get an alignment, all lights are off. Is your ABS light on?

BUMP...

Where do the red washers in kit go?
Read separate instructions in that washer bag, use if you're hearing banging noises on hard turns, bumps, etc.
Want to use in original install and not have to go back a second time for that.
Any clues? Thanx.
