Thumbs up SPC Camber Kit Help Center | THMotorsports

We have been a long believer, stocker, and user of SPC products and see that many of you have questions. I know there is a sticky of a Poll, but we would like to see if a mod could make this a sticky in terms of answering any questions you guys have regarding the camber kits.

Post up any question you have regarding the SPC Camber kit front/rear etc. If we do not know the answer the ASE master tech's at SPC can help us out to help you out.

Thanks,

Eddie

You guys never cease to amaze me. One of the more straight up vendors on the forum (standing by your products and offering help if you find the products not to be what they are said to be). You guys will definitely get my business again.

Recently I received a letter from SPC along with 2 washers. In the letter it states...

"Under extreme conditions the nut on the ball joint stud could pull through the spindle causing a separation of the upper control arm from the spindle and a sudden loss of control.

If the kit in question has been installed reusing the OE flanged lock not no further action is required."

Is it possible to do it yourself and avoid going to a shop? SPC said they would reimburse $25 for shop repairs but if it's a DIY than I would rather do that. Plus I havent checked yet but I hope the shop reused the OE flanged lock.

I got that too but I didn't use the castle nut because I could immediately tell that it was not the proper nut for the application. The best nut is the original (stock) and it works with the SPC stud. Just pull the cotter pin and switch them out. Or, use the washer if you don't have the stock nut anymore. Always use a new cotter pin.

On another note, I know others have had problems but my SPC arms perform perfectly, no knocking, and I'm dropped 1.25 inches in the front. Proper installation with the correct spring rates and damping makes a big difference.

Ok, this is not supposed to be a for sale thread, but since you asked here you go. Its $399 for the front kit (72125 Revised). On the webpage it says 72120 = old kit, but after you order online, just let me know you want the revised. You can also call us at 1-800-959-0145 ext 2 to order

On another thread I heard something about spacers. I'm not sure what this is about and why spacers would be needed with these kits.

the spacers are actually built for more range of camber. As well, putting the spacers on puts the sensors back in line perfectly so you dont get a the VCD light or ABS light. Many have done without spacers, and then just got an alignment which in turn, stopped the problem of the lights going on.

Stickied.

I have the SPC arms and and still running with negative 3 camber in the front. I have been skeptical of isntalling the spacers, even with my "revised" kit.

Without installing the spacers, the arms (alone) allow for only ~1 degree of positive adjustment. The spacers will add a static positive 2 degrees of camber.

I will most likely be swapping them out for SPL arms when I have the time/funds.

Installing the spacers will get you easily back to your needed -.05 . I don't see the reason for being skeptic on the spacers?

I just picked up the rear kit for an 06 coupe dropped on 350Z s-techs.

Installing tomorrow and I have an appointment at pleasanton infiniti on thursday to get it aligned.

My question is: is the dealer the right place to go to get it aligned?

I think they will probably figure out the camber arm adjustment but are they going to have a clue about the toe bolt? I can try to tell them ahead of time but they won't let you back there when they do it and I really don't want to pay $140 for a 10 minute on the rack toe-n-go.

1. When is the last time you got an alignment? (they should have aligned this at the shop)
2. Do you have the spacers on?
