Brake Question
I have a 2003 G35 sedan and apparently it needs new rear rotors from what the dealer says. They want a $1000 to do this which is rediculous. I have no problem doing them myself but I want to make sure I get the right stuff. Are these Brembos, Non-Brembos, just a basic Nissan rotor or will pretty much anything work? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.

That's just absurd! Is that just for rotors, or new pads too? I presume you don't have the sport package....
If you want to just buy the rotors, this site has great prices on OEM parts. Non sport rotors for the rear are $85.65 EACH!

You do not have the factory Brembo brakes, no sedan does unless transplanted from a coupe.
There are, however, OE replacement rotors for the sedan mfgd by Brembo that are very fine quality pieces and which I highly recommend.
Finally, what makes your dealer so sure that you need new rotors in back? How many miles on the brakes? Have you measured them against the wear limits? Rear brake rotors last a long long time. I normally don't resurface front rotors but I might rears, depending on age, mileage, and wear.
