Turn Radius

Hi guys, I'm a new owner of a G35X, and I'm trying to figure out if there's something wrong with my car.

On sharp turns, when the steering wheel is docked all the way to the left or all the way to the right, my wheels do not turn on their own (it's a 5AT). When I give it some gas, the car jerks forward/backward (depending on if I'm going forward/reverse). If I add a little more gas, it will go but there seems to be a clicking noise, seems like something is jammed.

The car is stock and hasn't been lowered. Any ideas?

This just sounds like a possibility of having an all wheel drive car. I don't have an X so I couldn't tell you if the car should behave this way. Hearing you description made me think of when I'm driving a 4 wheel drive truck or something. Sometimes the front wheels will "skip".

That said, I'm sure the X has something on it that should allow the wheels to spin much more smoothly than a "normal" 4 wheel drive car!

You don't have the Snow Mode switch engaged do you? That would cause it.

I did think that maybe it was because it's AWD. But I've driven Subarus in the past, and there was never anything like this. It just doesn't seem right.

No I do not have Snow Mode engaged.

It's definitetly something I want to get resolved ASAP, I look like a dumbass pulling in/out parking spaces because it seems like I'm about to stall my car everytime I turn hard.

It still sounds like your AWD is engaged or there is something wrong with it.
My 05 G35X and my 07 G35X never did that.

I would get it checked out.
