need g35 help please regarding brakes!!!!
i live in the uk and have just purchased a skyline 350gt which was imported from japan to the uk. only thing is there is nowhere to get your basic parts i.e brake pads, we have plenty of 350z,s in the uk , so i was wondering if any of you knew if the standard nissan 350z brake pads will fit my 350gt, my car does not have the brembo brakes fitted, also could you tell me what parts the 350z uses that also are on the 35ogt thanks

what year, model is your car? 6MT or 5AT? you can look on www.buybrakes.com and see what part numbers are the same between the Z and G35, and you can do the same on www.stillen.com. check the applications tab on the stillen site and it will show what car that perticular fits on. and most all the 350z parts are the same as the G35.

in any case, it wouldnt be too complicated to switch over to 350Z suspension and brake components as most through out the years are similar enough.
Between the two (in the USA), standard brake sizes have changed throughout the years, but suspension components like A-arms etc have remained the same and are exhangeable. Provide us more info on your exact model and year and we can help out more specifically.

Isn't this the same thing as the Z? Try here
http://www.350z-uk.com/forums/portal.php You have the equivalent of either the Z or G. Both of which are sold in the UK and therefore parts availability should be no problem

thanks for the replys guys! ok its a 2004 5at with non brembo brakes, all we have in the uk is 350z no infiniti until next year, all i need is brake pads as mine are down to the bone, ill have a look thanks guys

The brake pads for the 04 Z will fit the 04 G also. (non-brembo).
