Upgrade Suspension
Hey guys I did search for this info 1st but I can't seem to find everything I need to know...
Basically, I want to lower my g coupe with springs that will lower about 1-1.5'' to make her stiffer, look better and improve cornering/handling, yet still able to drive everyday... I wanna get rid of the wheel gap, but I don't want the back to sag and look lower than the front... Also, what all should I get when doing springs... new struts/shocks, camber/toe adjusters... I'm not really sure what the toe is... all help is appreciated...

what kind of springs are better? Linear or Progressive? Is there much of a difference... Will one sag more so than the other...

and spl pro rear camber arms and your good to go

I was under the impression coil-overs for the G is not worth it because:
-they already sit low -not worth the price -too stiff for daily driving I'm leaning towards Eibach springs (1.1'' F/1'' R drop) & Tokico D-spec shocks... Will camber arms be needed with this combo to keep alignment? Anything else recommended?

350evo,spc/eibach, spl are good camber kits. im lowered 1.3 and need front and rear camber/toe kits to get back into spec

Thanks I'll def get the camber kit too... What springs do you have? Is 1.3'' too low? How's the ride?

i have swift sport springs for the 350z....its not to low at all, i have about a 1.5 finger gap on all four sides. i have them mated with tokico d-specs set on 2.5 turns from full stiff. rides smooth and handles better than stock...

"Too stiff" is subjective, but I would think that most people that have reasonably speced coilovers won't find them too stiff for street use. I have BC Racing coilovers on my daily driver. I find the ride comfortable.

Yeah i was just trying to decide if coil-overs are the better way to go... I just don't want it to be too much stiffer than stock, but definitely somewhat stiffer... I'm just afraid I'll get the coil-overs and it'll be too stiff... If I get the springs, d-spec shocks & camber kit its about the same price as coil-overs.. At least the megan racing ones are $900...

Yeah I think I'm just gonna do the eibach pro springs & d-spec shocks... Do you think it will be necessary for the camber kit with this set up, since it'll only be lowered approx 1''... An alignment might be able to bring it back close to stock... What is the most negative camber I can go with even tire wear?

A lot of people get uneven tire wear even on the stock suspension. I needed camber kits on my sedan to keep from wearing out the insides of the tires first.

Do you think its possible to get close to stock camber without a camber kit using the eibach pro springs?
