so, i have done a little bit of reading, and still find myself a bit confused. you can link me to the correct post OR explain it some more. either way, im happy lol. I come from bagged vehicles. I had my s-10 bagged in high school, i built a bodydropped blazer (sort of) so i have a sense of how it works. However, never fiddled with a car. With my trucks I needed control arms, upper and lower, in the front... so the bag had something to mount too, in the rear, i used those bags, but also needed something for them to mount to. In a car, how does it work? The rear seems as if you get a cup kit, and weld it in place? how about the front? How does a bag go on the front of these whips?

kenny i know who you are. and i know what blazer you "kinda" built. ahha. did it happen to be black with green interior or something like that. i remember you build on the s10forum and everyone hating on you.
so for the rear. most people dont do it like this. but you are familiar with s10s and air ride which is where i started out. ok so in another member on heres car i had him get the bag cups like you ran in the front of your truck on the top/bottom of the bags. but i had him use those cups and dominator bags in the rear. in the front you can get a strut bag. which has a bag that is built into the strut or you can get the UAS style bag that takes the spot of the spring or coil on the stock or aftermarket struts.

nope! different Kenny. that was.... Pollock. I paid Barely Legal to build it, and then all hell broke loose. Stupid thing.
so the rear, is rather simple? just get a decent bag, get some bag cups, and plop em in there? I guess since weight would always be on it, you almost wouldnt need to weld them in... a strut bag..... ok, that makes sense. Almost like a shockwave, but you've have to find one with the mounting setup like our cars... right? The UAS style requires you to tear down the factory struts much like you were installing a lowering spring, and replacing it with an air bag?
seems easy enough... haha. im almost tempted to tackle this idea. i love air ride.

oh yea kenny pollock thats right. i think i remember the one you are talking about to though. barely legal was a joke. they took there name way to serious and carried out with it haha.
yea the UAS are really easy. you tear the strut down and take the spring off. then put on plate then the bag and mount it back up.
for the rear you dont need to weld the cups in. isntead of getting the s10 bag cups though get the universal cups.

with the top plates on the front bag, as with bottom plates, are there any G35 specific ones? I say that because you'll need for the bag to be able to attach to it to avoid it moving around... right? like the cups have two holes in them, so screw the bag too... do they function differently? how much do you think it'd cost to piece together a full kit? can't be too much seeing as you don't need control arms, you don't need a rear link kit... those things add up. A comp, a valve block, some line, and these bag setups. A DIY setup shouldn't exceed probably $1000. Could be off though.

oh yea sorry i never put front stuff listed. thats because there are multiple places and prices for these cars. i dont know what each place charges for the front bags so i didnt want to throw that on there. i know if you want to run UAS you can just email them and they can send you a price
