front springs

I was told I needed front springs on my 2005 G35 Sport coupe 117,000 miles. Was given a price of $1200.00 for everything by an Infiniti dealer. Is this a reasonable price to pay? Thanks

Oh heeelllll no. These stock springs are all over eBay and Craigslist for $50. Any mom and pop shop will install them (if you can't) for a couple hundo.

That is horrendous. I'm buying Tein lowering springs for $180. Maybe it's shocks they gave u that quote for, not springs. 2 different things.

If its shocks and springs that's different. I can see that being a dealer price. Of course you could get all four corners done for that price at any non-dealer.

I would try to steer clear of the dealer if possible. Find a good local mechanic and you can save yourself a lot of money
